Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA is seeking an experienced Composite Manufacturing Technician to support the fabrication and repair of aerospace composite components. You will follow detailed instructions, perform prepreg layups, bonding, curing, trimming, and inspection, ensuring adherence to AS9100 and NADCAP standards.

You will work with fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins, and honeycomb core, operating equipment like autoclaves and ply cutters while maintaining safety and traceability across all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Composite manufacturing experience preferred, aerospace background a plus.
• ACMA certification preferred but not required for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written work instructions and process documents.
• Perform lamination, bonding, trimming, assembly, and inspection of composite parts.
• Handle prepregs, layups, vacuum infusion, and wet layups.
• Operate composite manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Inspect parts for non-conformances and document results.
• Maintain safety, quality, and traceability per AS9100/NADCAP requirements.
