Job summary

STS Technical Services is looking for experienced Aircraft Composite Technicians in Waco, Texas. The role involves supporting maintenance and repair operations with a focus on composite fabrication and structural repair. Candidates should have experience in an FAA-regulated environment and effective communication skills in English. An A&P Certification is preferred. Responsibilities include compliance with FAA regulations, fabrication of aircraft parts, and maintenance of high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience performing composite fabrication and repair in an aerospace environment.
• Familiarity with FAA-regulated maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Comply with FAA, DOT, FAR, DFARs, and applicable CFR Part 14 requirements.
• Participate in and successfully complete FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Research and interpret technical data, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Fabricate composite aircraft parts using approved methods and procedures.
• Perform vacuum bagging operations and verify vacuum integrity.
• Trim, drill, deburr, grind, sand, and finish cured composite parts to specification.
