Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician (Licensed) in Waco, Texas. This full-time position is ideal for experienced sheet metal professionals who will perform structural maintenance and repairs on fixed-wing aircraft while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

Qualified candidates will hold an A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate and have 10-15 years of related experience. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of aircraft structural repair experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of aircraft materials, structures, and repair procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Boeing (737, 747, 767) and/or Airbus (A330, A340) platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural maintenance, repair, and modification on various components.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal parts using proper materials and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals.

Skills

Aircraft structural repair experience

Understanding of FAA regulations

Use of rivet guns and drills

Communication skills in English

Education

Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

Tools

Precision measuring tools
