Job summary

GKN Aerospace Tallassee is seeking a Composite Operator Level 1 (Manufacturing) to support the production and assembly of advanced aerospace components. You'll learn from experienced teammates and contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency.

No aerospace experience? Training provided. The role involves standing, manual tasks, and following drawings and work instructions to meet high aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
• U.S. Person (ITAR) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the manufacture and assembly of advanced aerospace components.
• Work with composite materials, tools and equipment to complete production tasks.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and quality standards.
• Help ensure products meet the high standards required by the aerospace industry.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Work closely with experienced team members to learn new skills and develop your expertise.
• Support the production of components used in leading aerospace and defense programs.
