Job summary

Applied Composites is seeking a Production Assembler 1 to perform routine assembly operations of small parts under clear instructions. You will use light tools and assist with sanding, fitting and aligning parts to meet specifications, with some prep for paint and composite layup.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and up to 2 years of experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic shop tools such as sanders, grinders and drill motors.
• Use calipers, scale and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Document materials used to maintain traceability.
• Perform accurate work at a fast pace with minimal scrap.
• Sandblast parts with care to avoid errors.
• Follow LEAN manufacturing principles and safety policies.
• Wear required PPE when handling chemicals.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
