Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Production Technician to fabricate, assemble, and repair high-technology composite parts for aerospace applications. You'll work with precision instruments, hand tools, and forming equipment to meet strict dimensional and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, laying out lines on materials, cutting, mixing resins, laminating, vacuum bagging, and verifying tolerances. Strong safety mindset and ability to lift up to 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Safety rules are followed and improvements suggested to maintain a safe work environment.
• Contributes to meeting production and quality standards to satisfy customers.
• Reads work orders and related docs to determine methods and specs.
• Reads blueprints and patterns to lay out operations and size-specs.
• Operates forming machines and laminates materials as instructed.
• Measures and verifies dimensions with precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, assembles, reworks, and repairs products per MWIs using tools and equipment.
• Sets up and operates forming machines, laminates layup, and bonds components.
• Verifies dimensions with dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
• Follows safety rules and participates in continuous safety improvements.
