You will mold, lay up, vacuum bag, and work with RTM and autoclave processes, collaborating with engineers to turn concepts into flight-ready parts while maintaining top-tier quality and safety in a fast-paced shop. A strong portfolio and meticulous organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in composite fabrication, ideally in aerospace or related high-performance sectors.
• Strong portfolio with photos of past composite components.
• Skilled in mold-making, layup, vacuum bagging, and finishing techniques.
• Self-driven with attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate high-quality composite components (wings, fairings, structural elements) using carbon fiber, Kevlar, and epoxy systems.
• Design and build molds for composite layups, including plug construction, tool prep, and vacuum bagging.
• Work with RTM, autoclave modeling, and compression molding techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop workflows, tooling, and spaces.
• Perform field repairs and rapid design iterations while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain documentation of fabrication processes and material usage.
