Job summary

Okie Staffing in Tulsa, OK seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to join the aerospace manufacturing team. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to produce precision components while adhering to GD&T specifications and strict quality standards.

The role requires hands-on programming and a solid aerospace background, with a temp-to-hire path and benefits upon full-time hire. Typical hours are Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with pay ranging $23–$28+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience is required.
• CNC programming experience is required.
• Experience creating, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs.
• Knowledge of G-code, M-code, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Must be able to identify CNC machines, controls, and programming software they have experience with.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must have a stable work history; frequent job changes may be a concern.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and modify CNC programs for precision aerospace components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Determine appropriate machining methods, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Optimize programs to improve machining efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and make necessary program adjustments.
• Verify machined components meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established aerospace manufacturing procedures.
