Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a CNC Programmer to collaborate with machinists, engineers and management. You will program multi-axis milling to CNC aerospace components, translate drawings into reliable processes, design fixtures, and maintain tooling and revisions for a fast-paced environment.

Experience in NX CAM, PLM tools, and NX modeling is preferred, along with familiarity with mill-turn and Okuma centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to program multi-axis milling machines to machine complex metallic structures and components
• Translate engineering drawings into reliable R&D and production machining processes
• Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve DFMA
• Design, program and machine test fixtures
• Maintain rev control of programs, tooling and setups
• Select tooling and maintain tool library
• Material selection and sizing
• Ability to handle complete part manufacture including outside processing
• Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel based alloys)
