Job summary

Janicki Industries, an aerospace-focused manufacturer located on-site in Great Falls, MT, seeks a CNC Machine Programmer. You will plan sequences for 3-5 axis mills, select cutters and parameters, and design fixturing with Unigraphics NX.

The role requires 5+ years NC programming experience and will involve collaboration with process engineers to ensure quality objectives. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years experience as an NC programmer programming 5-axis mills preferred.
• Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3-5 axis machine tools.
• Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters per materials and specs.
• Designs 3-D models, drawings and specs for fixturing elements.
• Creates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software.
• Provides input in production tracking software.
• Collaborates with process engineers on manufacturing plan to meet quality and design objectives.
• Creates shop documentation to comply with ISO 9000 standards.
