Position Description

We are looking for a CNC Machine Programmer to join our growing team. This position is located on‑site in Hamilton, WA.

• The CNC Machine Programmer plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3‑5 axis machine tools.
• Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications.
• Designs 3‑D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements.
• Creates 3‑5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software.
• Provides input in production tracking software.
• Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing processes to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved.
• Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO 9000 standards.
• Analyzes laser‑tracking data to assure quality of the setup, when applicable.
• Works with machinists to ensure setup and machining procedures are followed.
• Maintains general knowledge of standard G‑Code language, machine offsets and part locating.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident Status only.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Application of Special Access Program and Continuous Evaluation is mandatory.

Education / Experience

• Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as an NC programmer, preferably programming 5‑axis mills.
• Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred.

Additional Information

• Pay range: $27 - $58 per hour. The range is an estimate of base compensation. Actual offers will be based on job‑related factors such as experience, location, education, training and skills.
• Employees may receive additional pay for off‑shifts, off‑site work and access pay. 401(k) matching, discretionary bonus, vacation, and health benefits are also offered.
