Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our production team, focusing on the precision manufacturing of complex components for aerospace-grade standards. You will leverage Fanuc controls and Haas vertical machining centers to drive quality from setup to final inspection.

Responsibilities include full production lifecycle, rapid setups, reading blueprints, performing quality checks with micrometers and CMM, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement on the shop

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC milling.
• Ability to hold close tolerances of +/- .0002 in aerospace/high-precision environments.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls and Haas vertical machining centers.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full production lifecycle of precision metal components with tight tolerances.
• Perform rapid and accurate machine setups, including tool selection and offset adjustments.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints to program and operate CNC milling equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM technology.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or programming issues to maintain high uptime.
• Collaborate with leadership to validate first-article inspections and refine processes.
• Maintain shop floor organization and preventative equipment maintenance.
