Job summary

PLI Manufacturing, a company of Phoenix Defense, is hiring a CNC Mill Machinist for day shift. You will set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills to perform standard operations and inspect parts for conformance to specifications.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing, experience with 3-5 axis mills and Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Haas controls, plus the ability to read aerospace blueprints and follow English instructions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience setting up and running 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Mills.
• Experience using Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Haas CNC controls.
• Proficiently interpret aerospace blueprints.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operates, and adjusts CNC machine tools to perform standard operations.
• Run more than one unit simultaneously when needed.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain, implement, and improve 5-S Principles.
• Perform regular housekeeping duties and sustain production standards.
