Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years repairing CNC machine tools.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and machine drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC machine tool failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on CNC manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot servo motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and machine automation systems.
• Install, align, calibrate, and test CNC equipment.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Replace worn or damaged mechanical and electrical components.
• Read electrical schematics, machine drawings, and OEM documentation.
• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Recommend equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operators with equipment troubleshooting and proper machine care.
