AMI Metals, Inc. is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist in Spokane Valley to set up, operate, and maintain aerospace components on CNC Mills. The role includes part setup, processing, and geometric evaluation along with tooling setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

The position requires programming tasks such as uploading, proofing and minor edits, plus ensuring safe operation and a clean work environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills for aerospace components.
• Ability to set up, process and geometrically evaluate finished parts.
• Ability to program basics, troubleshoot, and edit CNC programs as needed.
• Knowledge of tooling setup, evaluation, monitoring and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain aerospace components on CNC Mills.
• Part setup, processing and geometric evaluation of finished products.
• Tooling setup, evaluation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• CNC programming: uploading, proofing, evaluating, troubleshooting, minor edits and communication with programming dept.
• Machine tool monitoring and preventative maintenance for safe and efficient operation.
• First run and production run of products.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and SAFE work environment.
