Job summary

Averro in Monroe, WA is seeking a CNC Machinist for aerospace manufacturing. You will set up, run, and maintain NC/CNC mills to produce aerospace parts to engineering specs, read blueprints, and inspect first parts.

The role requires 3+ years experience running CNC mills or a Machinist Tech certificate, strong math and blueprint skills, and basic G&M code knowledge. U.S. Person status is required; no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Requires strong math and blueprint skills; basic G&M code knowledge and basic MS Windows familiarity.
• Must pass machine proficiency test to verify capability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and maintain NC/CNC mills and machining centers to produce aerospace parts to specs.
• Read blueprints, edge-find, set offsets, inspect first parts with calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Troubleshoot out-of-tolerance parts, finish quality issues, and worn tooling; meet standard times with minimal supervision.
• Follow all shop safety guidelines and receive on-the-job training for setups.
