Helpmates in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate Haas VF-4 mills and Thermwood CNC routers for aerospace components. The role involves reading setup sheets, G-code, and engineering drawings, while performing tool changes and precision inspections.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of CNC experience, read blueprints, and follow safety procedures. On-site, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, with competitive hourly pay and benefits after permanent hire.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years CNC machining experience, aerospace preferred.
• Hands-on experience setting up CNC machines and making machine adjustments.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, interpret measurements, and follow safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust, and independently operate Haas VF-4 3-axis/5-axis mills and Thermwood CNC routers.
• Read and follow setup sheets, work instructions, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform tool changes, tool probing, offsets, calibration, and machine adjustments.
• Machine aerospace components from aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, other alloys, and plastics.
• Complete first-piece inspections, in-process quality checks, and precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
