Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is hiring a skilled CNC Programmer to develop complete manufacturing processes, including tooling design, setup methods, and optimized cutting strategies. You will create NC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines and support the shop floor with troubleshooting and process validation.

The role requires strong problem-solving, technical communication, and the ability to work in both office and CNC shop environments.

Qualifications

• Math and blueprint interpretation required for NC programming.
• GD&T and tolerance reading are essential for accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a shop environment.
• Strong communication with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and data to determine operation sequence and tooling.
• Develop tooling budgets and assess labor requirements.
• Review runtimes and material needs to support production.
• Design and implement machining processes per customer specs.
• Determine workholding and optimal cutting paths.
• Use NX to generate NC programs for 3,4,5 axis machines.
• Interpret customer requirements with Catia and verify with Vericut.
