Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with multi-axis CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with titanium, stainless steel, aluminum materials.
• Ability to meet ITAR and BATFE background requirements.
• Strong self-motivation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate blueprints and develop machining strategies.
• Identify and select appropriate tooling for hardware.
• Design and create fixturing to support machining operations.
• Perform first-piece machine setups for inspection readiness.
• Verify part conformance using precision measuring equipment.
• Adjust tools and offsets based on cutting conditions.
• Apply proper methodology, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters for various materials.
• Set up multi-spindle lathes with live tooling.
• Set up 5-axis mills through first-part verification.
• Revise programs as needed based on engineering or production changes.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and production issues on the shop floor.
• Machine both prototype and production hardware.
