Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar in Monroe, WA, is seeking a Machinist to operate NC machines and machining centers to fabricate aerospace parts per engineering specifications, with on-the-job training for setup.

The role requires strong blueprint reading, ability to use inspection tools, and basic troubleshooting. You will dial in offsets, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to quality in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• Shows good attitude toward work and punctuality.
• Able to set up and inspect first part using edge finders, indicators, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Communicates well in writing and verbally.
• Good manual dexterity and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, run, and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environment.
• Perform part inspection and use shop inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues such as out-of-tolerance machining or worn tooling.
• Dial in a hole or edge-find and set machine offsets.
• Understand G & M code and operate across multiple machine centers.
• Meet job standard times with minimal supervision and follow safety guidelines.
