Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment.
• Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets.
• Strong communication and problemsolving skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in mathematics and calculator use.
• Experience making offsets at the machine.
• Ability to read and understand CNC programs.
• Experience setting up and using machining tools and fixtures.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Familiarity with rightangle head operations.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work within tight tolerances (thousandths of an inch).

Responsibilities

• Operate 3,4, and 5axis CNC milling and/or turning machines.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously, as most equipment is part of manufacturing cells or machining centers.
• Machine hard metals such as Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel.
• Load parts and fixtures using hoists and safely position workpieces in machines.
• Make programrequired offsets and adjustments using Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine.
• Set up tools using tool sheets and ensure proper configuration.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
