Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a CNC Machinist 2 for the 2nd shift in Glastonbury, CT. Plan and perform CNC turning and milling operations to machine metal parts, following blueprints and specifications.

You will set up and adjust machines, measure with micrometers, ensure quality, and maintain records. Eligible candidates have 3+ years of CNC experience and a high school diploma; U.S. person with ITAR eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, aerospace preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person and able to work ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Read and follow blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications.
• Measure, test, and ensure conformance with precision instruments.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and specialized tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Select tools, machines, and materials for work preparation.
• Verify lubrication and cooling and operate equipment for efficiency.
• Maintain in-process inspection records and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
