Job summary

Vanderhorst Brothers, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Sumner, Washington. In this role, you will operate and set up multiple machining centers, ensuring high-quality production of aerospace components. You’ll be working on weekends with a full-time commitment.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in CNC machining, capable of reading blueprints, and familiar with precision measurement techniques. We offer competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and/or setting up CNC or manual machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, including tooling selection and program loading.
• Conduct first article inspections and verify parts meet specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
