Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III for our Irvine, CA facility. You will set up, adjust, and operate a range of machine tools including lathes, mills, CNC mills, CNC lathes, drill presses, and deburr equipment to produce aerospace components to tight tolerances.

You will read engineering drawings, inspect your own work, and rotate across machines to build competency while supporting Lean and 5S standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of machinist experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of Irvine, CA (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines per part number and instructions using a DNC link.
• Drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify conformance.
• Inspect completed work and complete inspection paperwork.
