Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for an aerospace‑grade precision manufacturer. This on‑site, full‑time role offers either first or second shift in El Cajon, CA, and provides long‑term stability in a regulated production environment.

You will set up 5‑axis machines, read drawings, and run production to tight tolerances. You will perform first‑article inspections, document data in ERP and quality systems, and collaborate with programmers and leads to improve workflow and reduce

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a tight‑tolerance, precision manufacturing environment.
• 5‑axis setup and operation expertise.
• Ability to read drawings, setup sheets, work instructions, and tool lists.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ERP and quality systems for documenting production data.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines by installing fixtures, tooling, and attachments; run production cycles per work orders and priorities.
• Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections and ensure tight tolerances and consistent quality.
• Document production data in ERP and quality systems, track performance, and report anomalies.
• Collaborate with programmers, leads, and management to improve workflow and reduce downtime.
