Qualifications

• Minimum two years in aerospace/aircraft machine shop.

• Ability to read blueprints and use calipers/micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
• Load machines with work pieces and verify settings by measuring positions and first parts.
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes.
• Edit programs; sharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality procedures.
• Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
