Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for the 2nd shift in Claremore or Tulsa. You will set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines with Makino and SNK controls, reading blueprints and editing G-code to ensure precision.

You will perform first-article and in-process checks, support quality targets in a clean aerospace manufacturing environment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits accompany competitive pay with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and editing G-code; adept with multi-axis machines.
• Experience with Makino or SNK mills or similar large-format machines.
• Willingness to work 2nd or weekend shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines (Makino and SNK) with FANUC controls.
• Read, interpret, and adjust G-code to ensure efficient, precise machining.
• Perform quality checks using blueprints, GD&T, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
• Verify first-article and in-process parts meet aerospace tolerances.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance (coolant, chip removal, offsets).
• Collaborate with leads and operations staff to meet production and quality targets.
• Uphold a first-piece-right, zero-defect culture in a clean, high-precision environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (QCDSA) and support team training.
