Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a VTL Machinist 1 to plan and perform turning and milling operations on metal parts at our East Windsor, CT facility. You will work from blueprints and engineering instructions, set up machines, align fixtures, and monitor tolerances with precision measuring tools.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of machining experience, and the ability to read G codes and blueprints. Domestic travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CNC experience preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering instructions.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and G&M codes.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Set up, adjust and operate basic and specialized machine tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments and document data.
• Maintain machines and tools; ensure proper lubrication and cleanliness.
• Travel domestically up to 10%.
