Responsibilities

Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
Read from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications.
Set up, adjust and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Check parts to ensure lubrication and cooling as required.
Measure, examine, and test completed units with precision instruments (e.g., micrometers).
Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment.
Maintain records and document in-process inspection data.
