Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc (us) seeks a Machinist II in Bloomfield, CT to set up and operate CNC machines, interpret blueprints, and produce parts per FAA-approved data and directives. You will develop tooling as required and ensure parts meet aerospace standards.

The role requires 5 years of machining experience or an associate/technical degree, proficiency with precision tools, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of machining or related experience.
• Associate's degree, relevant technical degree or certificate in lieu of 2 years experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, hones) to produce parts per specs.
• Prioritize components for repairs to meet on-time delivery.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC/hones equipment as needed.
• Document repair work orders and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet aerospace standards.
