Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Newington, CT, is seeking a CNC Machinist 2 to plan and perform a variety of CNC turning and milling operations on metal parts. You will work from blueprints, use precision instruments for measurement, and set up and operate the machines with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires 3+ years of CNC experience, production mindset, and strong English communication skills. 1st shift: Mon-Thu 5:00AM–3:30PM, with the potential to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints
• Understanding tolerances and specifications
• Communicating effectively with team members at all levels
• Attention to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines
• Set up, align, and operate machine tools
• Measure components with micrometers and inspection tools
• Read and follow blueprints and engineering instructions
• Maintain in-process inspection data and records
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards
• Report any faults or unusual conditions to supervision
