General Plastics Manufacturing Company in Tacoma seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to operate CNC tools and machine polyurethane foam parts to aerospace standards. You’ll read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure precise dimensions with high-quality output.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and continuous improvement within a hands-on shop environment. The position requires standing, 8-hour shifts, and availability for day or swing shifts with a $1.50 swing premium.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years CNC experience.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Able to receive and interpret instructions from supervisors and peers.
• Demonstrate good judgment, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Track record in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC tools to machine polyurethane foam parts and related pieces.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine methods and sequence.
• Measure dimensions with precision tools to ensure specs.
• Set up, align, and secure tools, attachments, and work pieces.
• Understand and convey instructions verbally and in writing.
