Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Valencia, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
• Make machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate issues related to tooling, materials, or part quality.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Valencia, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and mill equipment for aerospace production.
• Machine precision components to blueprint specifications and tight tolerances.
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Support quality, safety, and productivity goals in a manufacturing environment.
• 6 to 10 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using precision inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Ability to perform machine offsets, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace machining experience with close-tolerance parts.
• Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CNC programming edits at the machine.
• Experience machining difficult materials commonly used in aerospace manufacturing.
