Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist in Everett, WA, to set up and operate CNC lathes and multi-axis machines for precision aerospace components. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T Level 3, and maintain tolerances as tight as ±0.0001. A strong background in MBD concepts and Lean practices supports ongoing process improvements.

Work is in a contract-to-hire capacity, onsite in Everett. The role requires at least five years of CN C lathe experience, proficiency with Fanuc controls, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience running CNC lathes, including multi-axis type work.
• Strong proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Extensive knowledge of M and G codes for CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to perform multi-axis lathe setup and operation for complex aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes with Fanuc controls and operate all assigned equipment proficiently.
• Perform multi-axis lathe setup and operation to produce complex aerospace components.
• Establish and follow efficient production processes to keep parts within print tolerance and maintain quality standards.
• Follow work instructions, setup sheets, and production schedules accurately throughout the setup and machining process.
• Inspect parts as they come off the machine using micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
