Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc. in Meadville, PA, is seeking a machinist with experience in CNC cylindrical grinders to grind aerospace components to tight tolerances.

You will inspect parts with micrometers, bore gauges and indicators, and document results, working with minimal supervision to maintain quality. Responsibilities include following blueprints, routers, and written instructions, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC cylindrical grinders is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and routers is beneficial.
• Ability to identify quality issues and report to supervision.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC cylindrical grinders to meet final dimensions.
• Inspect ground parts using micrometers, bore gauges and indicators and document results.
• Follow blueprints, routers, corrective actions and other written or verbal instructions.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to Supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
