Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a skilled Grinding Machinist to machine, repair, and finish critical aerospace components. You will operate CNC and manual grinders, inspect work, and ensure parts meet the highest standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining documentation, with a shift pattern Monday–Friday plus potential weekend adjustments and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipment
• Machine and repair aerospace components to close tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes
• Change tooling and adjust feeds/speeds as needed
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and document inspections
• Operate overhead cranes and handle parts safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
• Support quality initiatives and process improvements
