Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up, fabricate, and verify parts by operating CNC machines and milling/lathes/boring mills; select tools and fixtures for aircraft parts.
• Maintain make ready crib.
• Plan sequences of operations; determine tooling, speeds, feeds and tolerances.
• Set up and operate four or more axis CNC milling; proof new or revised tapes.
• Set up and operate lathes, boring mills and milling machines to close tolerances.
• Improvise and adapt tooling and holding fixtures; use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
