Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a skilled CNC machinist in Tulsa to fabricate aerospace assemblies. You will work on CNC machines, verify dimensions with precision tools, and ensure quality per engineering specs.

This union-represented role requires flexibility across shifts and adherence to safety and training standards. Pay starts at $24/hour with potential to earn up to $37.53/hour under the appropriate collective bargaining agreement; comprehensive benefits are included as part of Total

Qualifications

Able to work any shift and pass a skills demonstration.
Union-represented position.
Overtime may be required (over 40 hours/week).
Experience in manufacturing/production settings.
Background in aerospace/aviation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manufacture to quality requirements using engineering docs, work orders, prints and instructions.
Fabricate assemblies using CNC while ensuring quality across the operation.
Adjust feeds, speeds and alignment using shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
Machine proof new and revised part programs.
Adjust tool setups and fixtures for safe operation.
Orient machine tool cutters and fixtures as needed.
Check parts for correct dimensions with heights gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Use precision measuring instruments to complete tasks.
Assemble components into sub-assemblies or end items.
Verify work per instructions and specifications; identify discrepancies.
Ensure equipment and tool certification per procedure.
Assist in training other assembly personnel.
