Job summary

Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is seeking a CMM Programmer with hands-on experience in the gas turbine and aerospace industry. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and executing inspection programs to ensure precision measurement and compliance with strict aerospace quality standards.

The candidate will use PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS to inspect turbine blades and other aerospace parts, interpret GD&T and CAD models, and participate in first article inspections per AS9102.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience in aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in CMM programming software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• In-depth understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, high-precision components.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / AS9102 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.
• Perform inspections of turbine blades, vanes, rotors, casings, and other aerospace parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Conduct FAI in accordance with AS9102.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports using statistical tools.
• Maintain calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment.
• Troubleshoot programming or measurement discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy.
