Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer with hands-on experience in the gas turbine and aerospace industry to develop, optimize, and execute inspection programs ensuring precision and compliance with aerospace standards.

You will program with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS, inspect turbine blades, rotors, and complex parts, interpret GD&T and CAD models, perform FAI per AS9102, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and engineering to resolve dimensional issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience in aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS and Calypso.
• Deep understanding of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, high-precision aerospace components.
• Familiarity with superalloys, titanium, and composites.
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102 aerospace quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.
• Inspect complex aerospace components such as turbine blades, rotors, and casings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to resolve dimensional issues.
• Analyze inspection data and generate reports using statistical tools.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain calibration and operation of CMM equipment.
• Troubleshoot programming or measurement discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement for inspection efficiency and accuracy.
