Job summary

SmartHire is seeking a Quality CMM Inspector/Programmer in Pierce County for a fully onsite, direct-hire position. You will program, set up, and operate CMM equipment, conduct in-process and final inspections, and document first article inspections to meet high aerospace standards.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace quality inspection and CMM programming, with strong GD&T knowledge and familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001. Must be detail-oriented and able to produce thorough quality records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years aerospace quality inspection experience.
• 3+ years CMM programming and operation experience.
• Strong knowledge of metrology and GD&T; familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment using CMM Manager.
• Perform in-process, final, and first article inspections on various parts.
• Read aerospace blueprints and GD&T; review drawings and models for CNC programming.
• Prepare inspection reports, AS9102 forms, and related quality records.
• Maintain accurate inspection and calibration documentation.
