Job summary

FINITETEK INC in Sumner, WA seeks a Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer to perform in-process and final inspections, operate CMMs, and prepare FAI documentation. You will create inspection sheets, read blueprints, and apply GD&T to ensure parts meet customer specifications in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Requirements include 3+ years in aerospace quality inspection, hands-on CMM Manager Software programming, and working knowledge of AS9100/AS9102/ISO9001.

Qualifications

• Read aerospace blueprints and interpret GD&T on drawings.
• Create bubble drawings from 3D models for inspection use.
• Perform inspection-related mathematical calculations with precision.
• Work with metrology equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• Apply GD&T to customer drawings, Catia, and Enovia specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections using the CMM.
• Prepare inspection sheets (AS9102 Form 3).
• Acknowledge and record adjustments and reworks as required.
• Provide First Article approvals for machined and sheet metal parts.
• Document production non-conformances per procedures.
• Program new parts with CMM Manager Software.
• Create and review bubble 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
