Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality CMM Inspector & Programmer/Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Sumner, WA. You will program and operate CMM equipment, perform in-process and final inspections, and ensure products meet GD&T specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of aerospace quality inspection, CMM programming experience, and familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 and ITAR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
• 3+ years of CMM programming and operating experience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment.
• Experience completing First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9101, and ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM equipment using CMM Manager software.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components.
• Perform precision measurements using CMMs, optical comparators, gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and AS9102 documentation.
• Interpret aerospace blueprints, 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Apply GD&T requirements to inspection processes.
• Review drawings, specifications, certificates, and revision levels.
• Create and review bubble drawings, inspection sheets, and other quality documentation.
• Create Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
• Document and communicate non-conformances, adjustments, and required rework.
• Verify CNC programming models and derivative drawings.
• Ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.
• Maintain accurate inspection and calibration records.

What You'll Do

• Program and operate CMM equipment using CMM Manager software

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMM Manager software
• Experience with Discus and Enovia
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with Infor Visual ERP
• Additional quality, metrology, or aerospace training

Training will be provided on company-specific software.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain excellent attendance and time management
• Work independently while meeting quality and production deadlines
