Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector in Orange, CA. The role focuses on executing dimensional inspections, developing CMM programs, and ensuring parts meet tight aerospace quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on PC-DMIS and CMM programming skills, experience with Romer/FARO arms, and thorough GD&T knowledge aligned with AS9102 and AS9100D/ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PC-DMIS and CMM programming.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection using CMMs.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and AS9102 familiarity.
• Experience with Romer/FARO portable arms and metrology tools.
• Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, develop, and update CMM inspection routines using PC‑DMIS.
• Perform dimensional inspections with CMMs, Romer/FARO arms, and metrology equipment.
• Develop inspection programs for new components and production updates.
• Interpret drawings, 3D CAD models, specs, and GD&T requirements.
• Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation per AS9102.
• Identify and report nonconformances and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain calibration status, traceability, and inspection records.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and daily quality records.
