Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy, CA is seeking a CMM Programmer for 1st shift to join a growing aerospace team. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and offers overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: Use of CMM and hand tools for dimensional inspection
• Certifications: AFS Laboratory Certification preferred
• Software: PC-DMIS, DMIS, and related measurement software
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality system preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blueprint or electronic file requirements.
• Interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 forms as required.
• Operate measurement equipment such as surface plates, height gages, calipers, micrometers and related tools.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures; support continuous improvement initiatives.
