Qualifications

• Experience: Use of CMM and hand tools for dimensional inspection
• Certifications: AFS Laboratory Certification preferred
• Software: PC-DMIS, DMIS, and related measurement software
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality system preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blueprint or electronic file requirements.
• Interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 forms as required.
• Operate measurement equipment such as surface plates, height gages, calipers, micrometers and related tools.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures; support continuous improvement initiatives.

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a CMM Programmer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy.

Salary Rate: $34 -$39 DOEESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blueprint, or electronic file requirements.
• Ability to interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 Forms as required.
• Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers and other assorted hand measurement equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred
• Experience: Utilization of both CMM and hand equipment to perform dimensional inspection techniques.
• Certifications/Licenses: AFS Laboratory Certification Preferred.
• Computer Skills: Virtual Dimensional Measuring Interface Specification (DMIS) 6.0, Virtual DMIS, Routine CMM Operation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance,
• Expert PC-DMIS Knowledge required.
• Polyworks And Bluelight scanning a plus.
• Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Ability to read blue prints in order to determine and measure features and tolerances.
• Ability to interpret reduced dimension drawings
• Ability to program using electronic model
• Surface Plate Inspection using Standard Inspection Tools
• Knowledge of Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 requirements
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a Plus
