Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy, CA, is seeking a Visual Inspector for 1st shift (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM). The position requires high attention to detail, experience with inspection tools, and the ability to read aerospace blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months of inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints.
• Advanced GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, ultrasonic gauges).
• Certification completed by CPP; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection of castings using bore scope and fiber optic to check defects.
• Verifies dimensions using gauges to ensure customer spec compliance.
• Uses hand grinders to repair minor defects.
• Initiates NMRs to route nonconforming parts.
• Maintains accurate records of inspection results.
• Acquire additional certifications as required.
