Job summary

Reich Tool & Design in Wisconsin seeks a CMM Programmer/Operator to support first article, in-process, and final inspection in a climate-controlled shop focused on aerospace, defense, and medical work.

You’ll program the Zeiss CMM with Calypso, operate Zeiss CMM and Faro arm, analyze blueprints, and ensure GD&T conformance while maintaining documentation. Overtime may be available to meet customer timelines.

Qualifications

Program the Zeiss CMM using Calypso software to support first piece, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
Operate and maintain the Zeiss CMM, Faro arm, vision system, optical comparators, and other inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and consistent performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and elevate promptly to minimize downtime.
Analyze and interpret blueprints and travelers, including GD&T requirements, to develop CMM programs and determine inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

Test finished products for paint and plating quality and thickness, dimensions, profile, and appearance.
Identify and flag nonconformances to the Inspection Supervisor and support root cause investigation as needed.
Communicate inspection status and timelines to the Inspection Supervisor.
Maintain organized CMM programs and inspection records.
