Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience.
• 3+ years of CMM programming, CMM operations, or Faro Arm experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 10-20% to perform visual and dimensional inspections at supplier sites.
• Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality.
• Inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with required accuracy.
• Perform complex inspections on purchased mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Review documentation and ensure conformance to design and specifications.
• Inspect flight hardware at suppliers per drawings and SpaceX specs.
• Support development of inspection plans at suppliers.
• Collaborate with teams to drive process improvements.
• Program and set up Articulating Arm and CMMs for inspections.
