Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an experienced technician to perform precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware. You will work within a team focused on safety and quality, handling equipment and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include cleaning, inspection, packaging, and calibration across CPV Lab and clean room areas, with a weekend shift and strong collaboration across the manufacturing and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with fluid systems and applied chemistry fundamentals.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and use lifting equipment.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willing to work a weekend shift (Fri-Sun 5AM-6PM).

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate hardware using chemical and mechanical methods.
• Safely handle hardware with cranes and hoists.
• Analyze CPV Lab solvents with titration and direct measurements.
• Inspect hardware using visual, UV, borescope, and precision weighing.
• Package hardware for storage or shipment.
• Perform shop maintenance and calibration of equipment.
